The table has been set and the preparations have been made for a great feast at the Princes palace. Everyone was invited but only those anointed and blessed have been set a place at the grand royal table.
There will be martyrs, widows and orphans, the persecuted, the oppressed, high priests,The elders, a remnant family, those that lived off the word, the ones that loved, others, those that loved the truth and were gracious and sincere, a multitude of forgotten children, the patriots, The saints, the humble, faithful, and meek and first fruits who shall have great honour, according to everything they have done. They will all rejoice as a feast is served by angels. No one without the seal from him will be able to enter through the narrow gate to the great marriage supper. Seraphim at the gates guarding the 'book of life' will usher through the righteous, and if someones name is not found, then they must remain camped outside the walls of the palace in shame with the dogs where the way is broad and they await judgement.
They will have realised by now that deliverance has long since expired and they now must face the judge at the great white throne and thereafter go to their final and eternal destiny. No one could see or predict its coming. It was a day like no other, neither light nor dark, nor cold nor frost, and suddenly without warning there was a great disturbance in the lands as trumpets sounded from the heavens and justice and wrath was poured out over the nations. As death descended on the nations like a thief in the night, the wicked suddenly realised they had made no provision. Wisdom came knocking at their door in all her splendour, but through their veils, blindness prevented them seeing her beauty and mysteries.
They gave her no time and showed her no hospitality and no meal was ever shared nor bread broken in celebration. Their choices were poor, flippant, and careless, as they couldn't see beyond the confines of this world and its many traditions. An Angel of light schemed to deceive and trick them, he offered honey, which was sweet in the mouth, but now rots deep in their guts. He steered them into false ideologies and corrupted them with a diluted gospel keeping them comfortable in all their iniquity, ultimately shipwrecking their faith! Deception overwhelmed them and robbed them of their true identities and from the word. They lapped it up, and drunk it down because It made them feel like little gods, and it puffed them up into foolishness, arrogance, blindness, and finally a permanent darkness.
But now the day of reckoning is upon them and the palace soldiers come in uninvited and enter their households, into a dark abode which was built on sand and has no foundation. Outside no animal blood was found at the entrance of the door, and their fields yielded a crop of weeds. There is no more divine compassion or mercy as the order has come from the highest command in the palace. They have confiscated all possessions and tied them to their wagons like common thieves and slaves. Their lives are no longer their own, as they have already received their reward in full.
Now they have come and have bound them hand and foot in chains. As the wagons tear along the rocky pathway, the birds of hades devour the seeds that fell there, but had no root. Looking ahead, the waters and lakes have turned to blood, and below them a lake of fire burns in anger, hungry for the souls of the wicked that bare the mark of the beast. As the wagons speed along, a beautiful carriage of 5 virgins passes by, all holding up a lamp to the bridegroom, they are on their way to the great feast. These five are the wise ones that brought extra oil and waited on the Groom and didn't have to leave the reception to re fill their lamps. Their preparation was perfect and when the groom came to collect, they were ready to enter the wedding banquet.
Running parallel, there's another carriage being pulled by four horses of the apocalypse. This carriage has no splendour at all. It carries five other virgins who were foolish and ill prepared and didn't bring spare oil to keep their lamps burning. They won't be seen or present at the supper of the Prince, and their path is the road to perdition ! On the hillsides of Zion, his chosen and beloved city, stand ghosts of the past with their eyes fixed on the present accompanied by angels of revelation. They had scrolls and were told to write everything down they had seen and what was to come.
The patriots prophesied with fervour, eagerness and zeal, everything to be recorded in scripture for his chosen ones still to come. This is the divine text that he holds above the stars of heaven, and that everything written therein should come to pass.
As sacred seals are opened and trumpets are sounded, the four horsemen from all corners of the earth were given great authority to inflict war, famine and death over the earth. In the heavens, an archangel proclaims; who is fit to open the seventh seal? Then there was silence.... Elders, saints, angels, living creatures and a great multitude of saved souls paused to look towards him who sits on the greatest and highest throne...
Then as he turned, there were flashes of lightning and peels of thunder and Heaven and earth moved away from his face and everyone and everything in his presence fell down in a deep and revered worship. Then a voice spoke ; The slain lamb is worthy to open the scroll. As the saints lined the corridors of the heavens, one with no name appeared riding a white horse of vengeance with a robe dipped in precious holy blood.
He had a luminance and intensity like the brightest light imaginable reflecting off a crystal surface. His eyes were like fire but beyond them was oceans of pure agape love. He wore several crowns as he is the Lord of all kings, and the one who has been given the highest authority in the universe. As he moved, the saints made way, and in his trail was justice and truth followed by the great armies of the heavens. From his mouth came a double edge sword as he goes out to strike down the nations with vengeance as heaven reclaims the earth. With the cry of an archangel, he swings a sharp sickle, and the earth was instantly harvested. By his side, angels separate the wheat from the tares and the perishable put on the imperishable as multitudes are raptured to join the Son of man in the clouds.
At the throne, a bowl of wrath is poured out and unimaginable destruction and annihilation come over the earth as it is written. In the heavens, the powers of the air prepare to cause chaos. The powerful god of this world and his minions have gathered mankind unto themselves. They have armed themselves with arrows of deception, blasphemy, corruption and pride and a great power and authority has been given to the sons of perdition and the beasts of the earth who call fire down from the heavens and perform great wonders. They have marked their own by number with a seal and stain from hell. No king nor president, nor man or woman is able to resist as the accusers speak in a blasphemous and diabolical tongue against the lamb, yet the nations are all deceived.
In the city of Zion, a great temple is built as is prophesied, and people are forced to worship the beasts image. As they bring together all the nations, a menacing peace descends over the earth. The one that sits on the throne of the temple, utters the words: 'I am God', but he is the father of lies and the peace is short lived, as after a period treaties are broken and they reign terror on the nations, murdering and destroying. And so the abomination of desolation engulfs the earth. Those that have remained steadfast and bask in the truth are persecuted and killed for their faith. Looking far In the distance as far as the eye can see, the remains of the great battle can still be seen. The torment of those defeated is carried up by the billowing smoke to the heavens and the saints rejoice at the scent as vengeance now belongs to them.
No one has ever seen such a battle, the great war and the final conflict where millions are defeated and their battalions lie in ruins. Their evil general deceived them and lead them a merry dance and dragged the nations naked into war with the lamb. They were no match for the Prince of Peace, who carries the spirit of prophesy and who will smite them with a double edge sword. Many that remain feel aggrieved and confused and there is much gnashing of teeth. As the birds feed off the flesh of the dead, woman everywhere clutch their wombs and agonise over the death of their lost sons. The proud and powerful army was so easily defeated by the humble platoons.
On the battle field, temperance destroyed temptation, chastity overcame lust, patience defeated anger, wisdom trampled over the wise, and righteousness overpowered wickedness!
In the great palace, the bride has been prepared for the groom. As angels throw open the doors, she stands there in a glowing radiance. She is dressed in the finest and purest white linen. This white linen represents the righteous deeds of all the saints. The bride has made herself ready and the groom is ready to receive her. Then a great multitude cry out ‘Hallelujah’ and it resonates and thunders like the roar of many waters, as they proclaim in unison ; 'He reigns for ever and ever'. Outside in the courtyards are the dogs and a great fire is already ablaze. Before him stand those that were asleep. As they awake to their final judgement, books are opened revealing everything they had done. Those that chose a path of love, charity and kept their faith were granted entry to the great city. Others who's names were not found in the book of life were granted a second death as it is written.
From a palace window, the groom watches with great sorrow and is deeply saddened by the loss of so many souls. These are the unsaved who chose to ignore the truth and the holy scriptures. They lived by their own moral standard and took the path that was broad. Deception overcame them and eventually they were overpowered by the flesh and everything in the world. As angels are prompted, 'bring out the chaff' that is stored in the barns, it's thrown into the great fire in final judgement. Everything that is not of him is thrown into the burning lake of sulphur including death and even hades itself.
With a great chain and the power and might of heaven itself, another angel captures the evil one, he that deceived the nations from the beginning of the ages, and throws him into the fire to be tormented for ever. There he will burn and the smoke of his torment will rise up for ever!
As the old has passed away, everything is made new. A holy city descends from the heavens with a Godly brilliance and a splendour of every beautiful Jewel imaginable.
This is the new Jerusalem where the bride will dwell with the groom and the streets are paved with gold. From his throne, a river as clear as crystal flows through the great city, and on each side there is a tree of life bearing the fruits of Heaven. Nothing impure or cursed can ever enter the city as the leaves of the tree heal the nations. Those that have overcome and entered through the narrow gate and have his name on their foreheads, will see his face and dwell forever in the city.
He will be their God and they will be his holy people. And he says:
'Behold, I am coming soon ! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city'. (Rev 22 12:14.)
Lord Jesus come.
